Cats, especially young cats, discover the world using all their senses. Also by tasting new things. Therefore, after we replace any other litter with corn litter, our cats may try to eat it.
If it is just a single incident, we do not have to worry about the health of our cats. Corn litter is a natural product which, in the presence of moisture, completely breaks down, so it will not remain in the kittens' intestines but will be excreted by them.
In addition, the corn used in the production is a feed material and is therefore tested and approved by the official veterinarian. It does not contain any impurities or harmful substances.
However, if your cat eats the litter frequently, you should consult your vet. This may indicate that there are insufficient macro or micro elements in your cat's diet, and that it is trying to supplement them by eating the litter.
